DOVETAIL JOINTS

A dovetail joint is a traditional woodworking technique that requires very precise and careful craftmenship. Today, it is often replaced with newer (and cheaper) methods. However, its strength and durability still remains unequaled. That's why we use dovetails in all our speaker and head cabinets.

GLUED-IN BAFFLE

Another feature that HDR cabinets have in common is a speaker baffle glued into a dado. Compared to a more common, economical solution with the a baffle screwed into corners the glued-in baffle is an integral part of the cabinet and therefore it can never loosen. Also, the glued-in baffles make the sound a little more articulate.
